Phillippe Leão is a professor and film critic, recognized for his extensive work in the field of cinematographic analysis. He teaches in-person courses at COART-UERJ and SESC-RJ, as well as online classes in the Introduction to Cinema course. He is also host of the podcast Desencontros, alongside Matheus Fiore, where he discusses cinema from a critical and social perspective. With a degree, master's degree and currently a doctorate in Geography, Philippe develops interdisciplinary research that relates arts — with an emphasis on cinema —, landscape and globalization, always adopting a critical approach with a Marxist bias, which gives a unique and in-depth vision to his cinematographic analysis.
